After decades of setting the benchmark for handcrafted riding boots, Parlanti is retiring the Classic and Pro lines in favor of something better — one collection built to carry everything forward.
There is a particular kind of confidence that comes from wearing a boot you trust completely — one that moves with you in the tack, holds its shape through a season, and still looks the part in the schooling ring or the Grand Prix. For generations of riders, that confidence came from the Parlanti Miami Classic and the Parlanti Denver Classic. For others, it came from the performance edge of the original Pro models: the Dallas, the Aspen, and their siblings.
Those boots earned their reputations honestly. The Classic line became the standard by which all other tall boots were measured — a benchmark of Italian craftsmanship, calfskin leather, and a fit tailored to the demands of serious equestrian sport. The original Pro collection pushed that standard further, introducing reinforced materials and performance-focused construction for riders competing at the highest levels.
Both lines have served riders extraordinarily well. And both lines are now being retired.
What replaces them is not a compromise between the two. It is something more considered than that.
The Evolution
Introducing the Parlanti Pro Collection
The new Parlanti Pro Collection — comprising the Miami Pro Field Boot and the Denver Pro Dress Boot — was built from a single premise: take the very best of what made the Classic and Pro lines exceptional, and engineer them into one definitive design.
This is not a rebrand. It is not a name change applied to an existing silhouette. The Miami Pro and Denver Pro represent a genuine design evolution — drawing on decades of rider feedback, advancements in material technology, and Parlanti's ongoing commitment to handcrafting every boot in Italy from full-grain calfskin leather.
The result is a collection that delivers the timeless elegance and refined silhouette the Classic line was known for, alongside the durability and technical construction that defined the Pro models — without requiring riders to choose between the two.

Miami Pro & Denver Pro — What's New
Miami Pro Field Boot
Replaces: Miami Classic · Miami ProThe Miami Pro retains the front lace system and rear elastic band that have made the Miami silhouette a fixture at competitions worldwide — delivering the contoured, close-contact fit that field boot riders demand. The construction, however, is entirely next-generation.
A microfiber calf panel replaces the traditional all-leather construction in that zone, enhancing durability and providing subtle grip without sacrificing the clean visual line of the boot. The interior lining is also microfiber, offering softness and a low-profile grip effect that keeps the boot in place through movement. Reinforced zipper construction addresses one of the most common long-term wear points in any tall boot.

Replaces: Denver Classic · Dallas Pro · Aspen ProThe Denver Pro carries forward the laceless design and elastic panel construction that made the Denver the preferred dress boot for riders who prioritize a clean leg, ease of entry, and a profiled fit through the calf. As the formal counterpart to the Miami Pro, it is built for the show ring without concession to comfort or longevity.
Like the Miami Pro, the Denver Pro integrates a microfiber calf panel for enhanced wear resistance and stability, along with the same reinforced zipper construction and microfiber interior lining. The sculpted leg and refined detailing position it squarely in the tradition of the Classic line's aesthetic — now with the structural integrity of Parlanti's most advanced construction to date.

The Transition
What this means for Parlanti riders
The retirement of the Classic and original Pro collections is a deliberate decision — not a discontinuation driven by market pressure, but a consolidation driven by confidence. Parlanti built the new Pro Collection precisely because the technology and craftsmanship now exist to deliver everything both lines offered, in a single, unified design language.
Riders who have worn the Miami Classic for years will find the Miami Pro immediately familiar in silhouette and fit. Riders who gravitated toward the Dallas or Aspen Pro for their reinforced durability will find that standard elevated further in the new construction. The fit philosophy, the Italian handcraft, and the uncompromising material standards that built Parlanti's reputation remain entirely intact.
What changes is the ceiling. The Pro Collection sets it higher.
Existing Classic and Pro inventory will remain available while supplies last. Riders with questions about transitioning to the new Pro sizing or fit profile are encouraged to consult the Parlanti sizing guide or reach out directly — the fit team is available to assist.
Looking Ahead
One collection. The definitive Parlanti.
The equestrian world has always rewarded refinement over novelty — a boot that performs at the highest level, season after season, earns its place in the sport on merit alone. The Parlanti Classic and Pro lines earned that place. The new Pro Collection is their rightful successor.
For riders competing at Grand Prix, training five days a week, or simply unwilling to accept anything less than the best boot Italian craftsmanship can produce — the Miami Pro and Denver Pro are the answer Parlanti has spent decades working toward.
The classics are retired. What follows is the standard.
